Privacy

We collect almost nothing, and we can show you why.

Most privacy pages are written to permit as much as possible. This one describes what actually happens, which is very little: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else’s server. The enquiry form does not send your details to us at all — it opens your own email program so you send them yourself.

CookiesNone. Not one.
Analytics & trackersNone
Third-party scriptsNone — everything is served from this domain

This website

What happens when you read these pages.

No cookies

  • This site sets no cookies of any kind — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences
  • There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to
  • Nothing is stored in your browser between visits

No tracking

  • No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording
  • No fonts, scripts or images loaded from another company’s servers
  • We cannot tell you how many people read this page, because we chose not to be able to

What our host sees

  • The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs — IP address, time, page requested — as every web host does
  • We do not connect those logs to anything, and we do not export or analyse them
  • That is the only automatic record that exists

If you contact us

The form on this site never sends us anything.

The enquiry form composes an email and opens it in your own mail program. You decide whether to press send. Nothing is submitted to a Valtrin server, a form service or any third party — there is no database behind that form, because there is no form submission.

What we then hold

  • Whatever you chose to put in the email: usually your name, company, email address, phone number and a description of the process you want improved
  • Any file you attached yourself
  • It sits in our email account, and nowhere else, unless the enquiry becomes a project

What we do with it

  • Reply to you, and prepare the free Workflow Review or Blueprint if you want one
  • Nothing else. No mailing list, no newsletter, no CRM, no remarketing, and it is never sold, rented or shared
  • If you tell us about your business in confidence, that is where it stays — we will sign an NDA before the conversation if you would rather

How long we keep it

  • If the enquiry does not become a project, we delete the correspondence within twelve months
  • If it does, we keep what the work and Malaysian tax record-keeping require, and no more
  • Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it

If you become a client

Your data stays yours, and we say where it lives.

What we see during a build

  • To build a tool for your workflow we usually need real examples — your rate tables, past quotations, sample records
  • We use them to build and validate the system, and for nothing else
  • They are returned or deleted at handover if you ask
  • We will sign an NDA before you send anything. Ask

Where a built system lives

  • Systems we build for you run on infrastructure in your name wherever possible — your domain, your hosting account, your database
  • The client portal runs on Supabase and Vercel, with each client’s data separated at the database level
  • You own the source code outright, so you can move it anywhere, at any time, without us

What we never do

  • We do not train anything on your data, and we do not reuse your figures, formulas or documents for another client
  • We do not keep a copy of your production data after handover unless you ask us to hold a backup
  • Where a system uses AI to read documents, we tell you which service processes them before you agree to it — and the numbers are always calculated in code, never generated

Your rights

Ask, and you get a straight answer.

Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us holding it. Email calvin@valtrintechnologies.com and you will get a reply from the person who actually holds the data, not a ticketing system. We aim to answer within seven working days.

If a system we built for you holds personal data about your customers or staff, you are the data user for that information and we act on your instructions. What we may and may not do with it is written into your project agreement rather than left to a page like this one.
