The DOSH submission pack, generated from one vessel entry — not rebuilt by hand.
A vessel enquiry arrives from a palm oil mill or a chemical plant. Diameter, pressure and material grade go into the design workbook; shell thickness, nozzle reinforcement, hydrotest and weight come out. Then the real work starts: the calc sheet reformatted for DOSH, the datasheet typed, the weight retyped into the quotation. We build systems where the vessel is entered once and every one of those documents is generated from the same numbers.
Sound familiar?
The week, as it actually runs.
Every DOSH pack starts from blank
The calc sheet is reformatted, renumbered and re-checked for every submission — the same pack, rebuilt by hand, five to twenty times a year.
One unit slip sinks the submission
Bar where kPa was meant, an inch in a millimetre table — found after submission, and the pack comes back with weeks lost.
Weight reaches the quote by retyping
Shell, heads and nozzles are totalled in the workbook, then retyped into the costing sheet. A design revision moves the weight; the quotation quietly keeps the old tonnage.
What we would build
What we would build for a vessel fabricator.
The centre is the tank and unfired vessel calc from our library: shell and head thickness, nozzle reinforcement, hydrotest pressure and weight, rebuilt as deterministic software with units locked and material tables published — and the calculation sheet formatted for DOSH design submission, numbered per revision. That is Estimating & Engineering Software at Essential, RM 16,000 fixed. We have not built it for your shop yet; that is the point of the offer. Bring us your workbook and we rebuild your method, not a generic one.
Around it, the documents. The same inputs fill the vessel datasheet; the weight flows straight into the quotation — the class of arithmetic our own estimating engine already proves, live on a call — and pack assembly with a self-maintaining document register is Engineering Workflow Automation from RM 8,000. Acceptance is the Re-quote Test: vessels you have already submitted, re-computed within a tolerance agreed in writing, and the balance payable only on pass.
From the calculation library
One vessel entry. Every document downstream generated.
The ladder, in this room
What the three levels look like here.
Essential — RM 16,000
One design engineer, one vessel calc. Diameter, pressure and grade in; thickness, nozzle reinforcement, hydrotest, weight and the DOSH-format calc sheet out — proved against vessels you have already submitted, within a written tolerance.
Standard — RM 32,000
The design office on it, with checking built in: a junior enters the vessel, a senior signs before anything is issued, and the weight feeds the costing system you already run.
Advanced — RM 80,000
The mill or plant logs in to its own vessel: current calc revision, datasheet, test status and the document pack — instead of phoning your design office for copies.
Start here
Bring us the workbook behind your last DOSH pack.
Send the design workbook, the submission pack it produced and the quotation that followed. We will trace the numbers from input to document and tell you honestly whether a system pays. The review is free; so is the Blueprint if the job is real.
The workflow review is free, and you don't need to know the technical solution. Describe how the work happens today — that's the whole brief.
